Mission notes the patrol boat stops at the harbour every circuit of its
patrol that would be a good point to plant the limpet mine It has 300 second
fuse. There are fuel drums
around the place they will enhance the explosions.
Today I have to kill a lot of men, and not terrorists like before, these are
fellow soldiers. Some of them may even be the Kolgistan Freedom Fighters I
trained 3 years ago. All for what Oil when it comes down to it. Sure the
Kolgistanis invaded Malden but only after the Maldenese Government Impounded two
of their tankers; for none payment of the so called Passage Fees. The
Kolgistanis would have ignored it if the Maldenese had
at least let there crews go home. I was really happy when the Kolgistanis discovered Oil on that little
lump of sand they call their Desert Island.
Ah but people get greedy. The Maldonese Government saw a way to earn an easy
buck and after the World Court threw out their claim on the Desert Island they
expanded their territorial waters to 30 miles and charged all foreign tankers a
passage fee equivalent to half the profits on their oil. If the Kolgistanis had
just freed their tanker crews and left none of this would be happening, but the
due to the crisis the Kolgistani Government resigned and a new nationalist
government came into power. They have a 200 year old claim on Malden and Everon
from when they were part of Czarist Russia. They used the Tanker Crews as an
excuse to annex Malden and Everon. Now because Malden and Everon have a NATO
treaty we have to defend them.
