SITUATION IN GENERAL
At 02.22 Hrs Zulu Time Our spy satellite network over the Atlantic islands were taken out by enemy hunter killer satellites and ground based blinding laser and maser systems. The space battle is still fluid and we await the arrival of new spy satellites being re-tasked from from the Pacific and or launched from the space shuttle. The battle is still going on in the international space station and both sides are threatening to bring it down if the other takes control.
At 02:35 Zulu Enemy forces of about a 3 battalions strength based on Rahmadi invaded the South of Sahrani. We won the first battle for the Air Field we destroyed a couple of companies of enemy paratroopers who attempted a coup de main there. Both forces fixed wing assets are completely destroyed, the enemy's comprehensive mobile air defence took out the last of our local fixed wing assets. We are awaiting the arrival of a carrier task group so we can reassert air superiority in 12 hours time. The enemy naval forces have retired to their harbours to pick up more reinforcements the round trip of 12 hours means it will take them another 12 hours to put another two battalions on the beaches but the enemies fixed wing air landing capability means they could land another battalion every 2 hours if they had the Air Field; If we lose control of Corazol
we loose our logistics base and the enemy can land ten battalions of fresh troops they have stationed out at sea. Loss of Corazol
or the Air Field must be prevented at all costs.
SITUATION ENEMY FORCES
Enemy forces invaded from the island of Rahmadi on to these Invasion Beaches. Exact current positions of the enemy are unknown but before they were destroyed, our fixed wing assets observed forces of about two heavy to three battalion strength landing, this tally's with our naval estimate of their limited beach landing capability as well as HUMINT and SIGINT.

Lose
You lost control of the Airfield! Our defeat is now inevitable even our carrier group will not be able to land!
Lose
You lost control of the Corazol! With the loss of this vital port our defeat is now inevitable! The island is split in two we have lost our Logistics Base. The enemy can just sit in defense till we run out of supplies. The enemy will now be able to land 10 battalions from commercial vessels they impounded at the start of the war.
Win
You won. You have rested back control of the Sahrani well done!
Lose
You still hold the Airfield and Corazol but you do not yet control the beaches or the Oil fields you have left Atlantic Command with a bloody long term war. More Enemy reinforcements are already landing they will have yet another two battalions on the beaches within the hour. Your reinforcements are now arriving but Atlantic command is very angry at your inability to defeat a technicaly inferior enemy. Atlantic command thinks it would be better all round if you Retired, a letter to that effect has been drafted for you to sign.
Lose
You still hold the Airfield, Corazol and now the Oil fields but you do not yet control the beaches. More Enemy reinforcements are already landing they will have yet another two battalions on the beaches within the hour. Your reinforcements are now arriving but Atlantic command is suprised at your inability to defeat a technicaly inferior enemy. Atlantic command think you look very tired and think you are perhaps more suited to working at a desk on some quiet base, There is a suitable post at a weather station in the Arctic, it is there to prove that climate change is not taking place but needs to be completley rebuilt owning to the foundations of the last base melting into the atlantic. The new base will be built right on the North Pole.
Lose
You still hold the airfield and have the beaches but the enemy control the oil fields. They are threataining to polute the oil with nuclear waste to make it unusable. Atlantic Command is shocked you disregarded the clear intentions of your MISSION IN GENERAL, a board of inquiry into this mess is to take place with a view to a probable court marshal. Political leaders are demanding that heads will roll.
